Saturday with Regina Spektor

I really like this artist, she has a great voice and her songs have great lyrics.

On the Radio, a song about an affair by Regina Spektor. Actually quite good.

Fidelity, same artist

Samson, by same artist. I listened to this song a lot after the Discovery. I felt like I'd cut Husbands hair, but he kissed me and loved me the same. Its really a beautiful song though.

I found this interpretation of this song- I really like what is said here. Especially when I think about it from my perspective, since I didn't love for song long-it breaks my heart.

I think the narrator is still in love. In the first verse, she talks about how she always protected herself and then went crazy in her own thoughts. I think that "and it breaks my heart" refers to thinking about how closed off she used to be before she experienced true love. I think the second verse is so joyful and even intimate. What if she continued to block herself from the intimacy and happiness that she seems to be describing here?
I do think that there is an element of pain, but i think that the pain she's feeling is the intense emotion of falling in love after closing herself off to it for so long. Overwhelmed, I guess.
Amazing song! So beautiful.
